I’m Heather Quinn.

Over the years I’ve been involved with many creative adventures. Getting my start in Atlanta, Ga with an entry-level marketing job to owning a boutique here on Hilton Head Island and diving head first into a myriad of creative projects since: content creation, writing, branding and production. What feels like a thousand endeavors later…

I still have no idea what I want to be when I grow up!

But, I do know this: I love people (usually), I love to write (when the mood hits) and I love to laugh (which means I am on an eternal quest to surround myself with funny, creative and slightly mischievous souls.)

I am a connector and a storyteller.

Chaos & Spanish Moss was born out of an intense desire to connect and create; fueled by a healthy dose of imposter syndrome, wondering “how on earth did I end up here, in this place, at this time, with all these amazing people?”. With that curiosity, I grew Chaos & Spanish Moss to explore the mystique of the Lowcountry and the people in it through published essays, independent contract work in creative spaces and brand development.

I am curious about the beautiful and oftentimes chaotic nature of being human. You know all the good stuff and bad stuff that gets us anywhere!

I hope you learn something new, giggle a bit and get a glimpse of the gorgeous Lowcountry through my imperfect lens. Let’s work together!
