We re-opened at our NEW location on May 9th and its crazy ever since. If you haven’t stopped by to check out the new shop…well, what are waiting for??? Louette Boutique receives weekly new arrivals and the shop is constantly changing.
Don’t miss out on shop happenings & events. Make sure you are getting social with us!
“I love Louette!!! Is the NEW shop going to be same?”Answer: YES!!! But…better. Just like my Grandmother–her namesake shop is just getting more amazing & beautiful with age. No detail will be overlooked. We have painstakingly removed every. single. piece. of reclaimed lumber that was in our original shop (I’m using the word “we” to mean my husband and his crew.) We will be transferring everything from our original location to our new location at The Village at Wexford. Plus, we’ve been traveling throughout the South East picking up even more reclaimed material to use in the NEW shop. CLICK HERE to see why my husband rocks!
“Why are you moving?”Answer: Because I’m crazy. Well…yes, I’m crazy but that’s not the only reason we are moving. Over the past three years we have developed a strong following from Hilton Head Island locals (which still blows my mind and makes me feel eternally grateful). We’ve begun to need a place with more available parking for our valued customers. We learned a space was available at The Village at Wexford. I’m a huge sucker for cool concepts and amazing design–Louette’s new neighbors are unique locally owned businesses like Java Burrito, Gifted, Island Child, Needlepoint Junction and Porter & Pig (just to name a few) that are bringing truly original concepts to the island. Its the perfect fit and we couldn’t be more excited to beat the heart of shopping local.
“Are you hiring?”Answer: Yes, we are! If you are a lover of design, fashion, art, laughing, coffee, chocolate, simple luxuries, candles and pretty things then this is the job for you. We are now excepting resumes for part-time positions. MUST be able to work weekends and approximately 12-15 hours per week. Please email your resume to: email@example.com

The season is upon us! Tis’ the season for fresh veggies and fruits available at our local farmers’ markets. Whether you are visiting, or a local that has missed the market movement—we are here to highlight our favorites.
1. Farmers Market of Bluffton– The Farmers Market of Bluffton is one of the best Farmers’ Markets in South Carolina. There are dozens of vendors from favorite local farms, like Three Sisters Farm, to cult favorites like Palmetto Kettle Corn. No matter what part of the country you are from, this market is sure to become a weekly ritual. In true Lowcountry fashion this market is not without it’s entertainment. Local musicians and artists frequent Calhoun Street adding a unique flare to this traditional market. Old Town Bluffton has become an attraction all it’s own. Be sure to visit our friends at Gigi’s, The Story Book Shoppe, and Madhouse Vintage.
What to wear: Pick up a pair of our super comfy slip-on espadrilles. We are partial to the Tulum in Coral. You can’t go to market without a market tote! We adore our 100% burlap totes from IceMilk Aprons (we have these adorable burlap totes in a variety of prints at the shop). Don’t forget–The Farmers Market of Bluffton kicks off on March 20th 2-7pm
2. The Farmer’s Market at Sea Pines– Nestled inside the popular Sea Pines Resort. The Sea Pines’ Farmers Market is held on Tuesdays from 10-2pm. Quickly becoming an island favorite, this farmers’ market has an artisan feel with loads of local loot. Local favorite, Lowcountry Produce anchors this cool market and provides shelter on rainy days. This market came on the scene quietly but is standing out by focusing on unique artisans and chic local eats. One of our favorites: Baby Cakes! The best hand-held dessert on the planet.
What to wear: Our favorite breathable bamboo cotton minidress is the perfect choice. Slip this over your bathing suit and you are set. We can never get enough of nautical stripes—always chic and always on trend. This dress is available in the Sailer Stripe (shown below) and a nautical red stripe. Super cute!
Bonus: Sea Pines center is close to the beach! Ride your bike and then head over to Sea Pines beach club after the market. You need a bike basket to carry all of your goods–Nantucket baskets are the best. We are re-stocked with these popular rattan baskets–adult and kid sizes available.
Farmers’ markets are a great place for the kiddos. We love “We’re Going to The Farmers’ Market”, a new addition to our selection of books. This sweet little board book is Ella Grace approved–small and durable! Pick this up before market and you’ve got something to keep your little one entertained.
Then comes a baby in a baby carriage! And no baby comes without a slew of baby showers and we all need the perfect, most unique gifts to show our loved ones how much we care. Boy or girl, Louette has the CUTEST baby section.
We’ve talked about our bamboo onesies before, but have you seen our latest arrivals? We’re dying over crocheted elephants, parenting books and diaper clutches. We still love our bejeweled headbands for baby girls, and our littlest Louette employee, Miss Ella Grace, is a perfect model for those!
The best time to stock up for Christmas? The days after Christmas, of course! Did you grab some of our holiday items for your friends and fight the urge to keep them for yourself? (Us, too!) Lucky for you, we’re having a sale on all holiday items! 50% off!
We will be open 11:30am-6pm December 26th & 27th and 11:30am-2:30pm December 28th. Louette will be closed December 29th-January 6th. Happy New Year from our family to yours!
